The nickname I chose here, Jahooee has been a nickname of mine since High School.  One of my friends was calling out to me and he sneezed while shouting my name so it came out “HEY JAHOOEE!”  it has stuck with me and my closest friends ever since!

My father was a Pennsylvania Dairy Farmer in the 30’s and 40’s while my mother was a Tobacco Farmer and moonshiner in North Carolina also in the 30’s and 40’s.  They both raised me to be independent and capable…and that included the kitchen!!

Most of my recipes these days are from online sources these days that I change to be my own.  But the basics were drilled into me by my parents.
